As part of our continued effort to support our local charities and partners, as well as promote healthy active living to our students and community, we will be holding our annual Jump Rope For Heart Event on May 5, 2017 in the afternoon at the school. Please join us.
May is the month of our blessed mother, Mary. Many thanks to our partners, the Rosary Apostolate who will be celebrating with us on May 4. It is a beautiful celebration where we will recite the Rosary in devotion to our Holy Mother as a school and as a community of believers.
On May 5, our students from grade 4 to grade 8 will participate in a wonderful production at the school which celebrates Canadian music. As we will be celebrating the 150th year of the birth of our nation, we will be focussing on the music of Canadian artists from all regions of Canada. Our Luke 4:18 Committee is holding a Spring Food Drive for our local food banks which are depleted. We will hope to collect enough food to last through to Thanksgiving. The generosity of our school community has always been considerable, and we look forward to yet another successful campaign. Thanks to all for your continued support.

One of the many activities undertaken at the school to enrich our students’ experience is ballroom dancing. Our intermediate students have been enjoying a wonderful series of classes under the tutelage of a trained dance instructor where they have been learning the art of ballroom dancing.
