Student safety is always of the utmost importance and we all must do our part to ensure that this safety extends into our parking lot, driveway, and Kiss & Ride Area.
East Parking Lot & Driveway
Please remember that from 8:40 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & from 3:25 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. the Main Driveway is strictly reserved for busses. As such, the bus lane is closed to all traffic except school buses. Please park your car on the street, in an area where it is safely designated to do so. It is important to note that this driveway is not a Drop Off and/or Pick Up Zone. Children can be dropped off and picked up using the Kiss & Ride located on the west side of the school. We thank you for your continued support and co-operation with this safety matter.
Kiss & Ride
The Kiss & Ride Area is meant to support our students in safely arriving to school or departing from school. Parents wishing to use the Kiss & Ride are asked to follow these directions:
1) Stay in your vehicle at all times. One person parking or exiting their vehicle can create an enormous backlog. Staff will ask you to kindly return to your vehicle.
2) Pull up to the top of the Kiss & Ride Loop so that we can limit congestion.
3) Have your child{ren} prepared to exit the vehicle through the passenger side of the vehicle. Please ensure they have all of their belongings are with them and are ready to go.
Driving in School Zone
As the colder weather arrives, it is important to remind ourselves to take extra care in and around our school sites during drop off and pick-up times to ensure the safety of our students, staff and parents.
