November holds special significance as it is dedicated to Bullying Prevention and Intervention. To kick off this important initiative, we have some powerful and inspiring presentations lined up this week. One particularly impactful event involves a unique artistic fence art message that students will be actively engaged in tomorrow, right outside of our kindergarten play area. Each student will have an opportunity to contribute to the display, which will serve as a powerful reminder of the inclusive and caring environment we strive to create for every student. We also feel blessed to be welcoming Thalia Avgousti back to AST for her empowering presentation entitled “My Ability is Stronger than My Disability”; and Coby for his engaging presentation, with an important message on belonging, entitled the “Magic of Coby”. Other highlights include a special visit from the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs and our Active School Travel Safety Campaign. Student safety and well-being will always serve key priorities at AST.
