Recipe to keep navy blue darker longer

  • Mix 2 handfuls of salt in a tub of warm water.
  • Soak clothing before the 1st wash for ½ hour.
Remember to label all uniform items.

Shoes

Indoor and Gym

  • Dark or mostly white (matching laces)
  • Shoes, socks and laces should not be bright colours
  • Non-scuff
  • Toe and heel are enclosed (no sandals)
  • Heel height must not exceed 2” (two inches)

Outdoor

  • Must be weather appropriate
  • Toe and heel are enclosed (no sandals, flip-flops, etc)
  • Cannot be worn indoors

Things to Remember

In Uniform

  • All tops are white and may be crested
  • White tops are collared or turtleneck
  • White tops must be tucked in (except DGN Kilters French-cut blouses)
  • All navy blue tops must be crested
  • Navy blue track pants may be worn by JK/SK only
  • Socks must be white or dark or navy blue tights
  • Girl’s hair accessory must by white or dark
  • Proper fitting clothing

Out of Uniform

  • Hats, scarves, bandanas, or jewellery
  • Jackets are not permitted in the Classroom
  • Wearing make up
  • Torn or faded clothing
  • Fabrics with patterns, logos, textures, fleece, trims, frill or lace
  • Cargo or Yoga style pants or corduroy pants
  • Coloured or fluorescent clothes or accessories
