Lent begins on Wednesday, February 14th. As a school, we will honor this as a solemn period and reflect on its significance within our faith. Our student council will be organizing a number of events that uphold the meaning of this pivotal moment in our faith journey. In that light, students who wish to exchange Valentine’s cards are invited to do so on Tuesday, February 13th, Shrove Tuesday. We encourage inclusivity and kindness in these gestures, fostering a sense of community and friendship among our students.
We are very pleased to officially begin our Lenten journey with an Ash Wednesday Liturgy on Wednesday, February 14th at 9:15 a.m., within our very own school gymnasium. We thank our AST Choir and Ms. Reitano’s Grade 3 class for leading us in prayer. Following the conclusion of the Liturgy, blessed Ashes will be distributed to all of our students. All are welcome to attend.
