Terry Fox Run

On Wednesday, September 27th, our students are invited to participate in our first Civvies Day of the school year. For those new to our community, for our monthly civvies days, students are asked to bring in a loonie or toonie to support a variety of initiatives. As you may have seen in our Terry Fox 2023-24 Information Package, September’s Civvies day charity will be the Terry Fox Foundation. Please note, as per the flyer, the date of the Terry Fox Run/Walk is Tuesday, September 19th, with a rain day of Thursday, September 21st. On this day, students are encouraged to wear red and/or wear comfortable clothing and to think about who they are running for. Families are encouraged to make their donations online, or alternatively, bring in a toonie donation on the day of the run. As an extra incentive, students who donate online early, will have their names be entered into a draw to win a commemorative Terry Fox t-shirt.
