The Luke 4:18 Social Justice Committee of All Saints has initiated the “Keep Out of the Cold” Campaign.
Dear All Saints Community
The Luke 4:18 Committee is beginning the “Keep Out of the Cold” campaign to help those in need, stay warm this winter. Starting today until February 16th we will be collecting new or gently used items, for all ages, which will then be donated to the City Street Outreach Mission. Donated items could include:
- Sleeping bags
- Hats
- Jackets
- Pillows
- Gloves
- Ear Muffs
- Blankets
- Scarves
- Sweaters
- Boots
- Pants
- Socks
We read and hear about the increasing number of people in our community who are suffering as a result of having to live on the streets, or because they do not have a warm place to stay. This is our way of trying to live out our faith and bringing hope to those who feel that hope has left them. Lets help to put some hope back into their hearts, and some warm clothing on their backs.
Anything that you can donate which is new or gently used would be most greatly appreciated.
